Malaysia have sovereignty over Pulau Pisang

From my previous post "Pulau Pisang to cure the scar of Batu Putih?" I have stated that another "Batu Putih" case could happen if the Malaysia government do not take any action to "secure" it first by developing the island and commercialize it.

But now I think it will not happen.

Pulau Pisang is owned by Malaysia with a proof from a treaty between Sultan Johor (Sultan Ibrahim) and the British in 1900. The treaty clearly stated that Malaysia had sovereignty over Pulau Pisang.

More details can be read in The Star Online and Utusan Malaysia.
