Pulau Pisang to cure the scar of Batu Putih?

I as a Malaysian felt the sadness of losing the rights of Batu Putih to Singapore. I didn't meant to argue the results given by the ICJ but somehow I feel it is a little bit odd to lose Batu Putih instead of Middle Rocks. On the map we can see Batu Putih is located above Middle Rocks and much more near to Malaysia, to be precise, Johor.

But the question arose from my mind, were Singapore really wants to have the rights on Batu Putih because of the lighthouse or actually they wanted to expand their border? As the location of both Batu Putih and Middle Rock as aforementioned above, it is possible for Singapore to expand their border by claiming the rights of Middle Rock against Malaysia in the future. But when it will or can happen is beyond my thoughts. But I hope it will never happen. The results for the rights of Batu Putih is a scar to Malaysia's sovereignty.

Malaysia is now are focusing in Pulau Pisang, another island with a lighthouse near Pontian, Johor. But unfortunately the lighthouse is also being managed by Singapore. And the jetty on the island is also owned by Singapore. Malaysia government should and must do something on that island to secure it before another "Batu Putih" case happen. The plan to develop the island and commercialize it should be used as a scapegoat to get the total control and rights of Pulau Pisang from Singapore.

Don't let "pisang berbuah dua kali".
